Share your Neighbourhood [www.zappeninjebuurt.nl] is an Electronic Learning Environment about doing research in your own environment and share your results with others. It is especially meant for students between 12 and 18 years old.

Share your Neighbourhood is a product of  “Stichting Omgevingseducatie Gooi, Vecht- en Eemstreek” (OGVE). This foundation primarily develops learning materials together with teachers, musea and others about “Het Gooi” and “The Vecht- and Eem region”, a region in the hart of the Netherlands.

In Share your Neighbourhood we try to internationalize our products with the aim to let children all over the world learn about each other and especially about the neighbourhood in which they live.

From a teachers module the teacher coaches the whole research process. Teachers and students can communicate with each other by electronic messages. Students put all their sources, texts and photographs in their backpack, a digital archive. At the end the student makes a website on the internet to present the results of his research.
